The Forts Potential enemies approaching from the east (windward) side would have then had to pass the fire of Forts Rupert, Morgan and Charles while in a narrow sea-channel. If they managed to round the point (or Port Royal) they would have had come up against with Forts Walker and James, and if they managed to make it into the harbour itself they would have had to contend with Fort Carlisle. Mainland Plantations Away from the bustling market crowds, you'll come upon the plantations, where one might find fields of Sugar Cane.
The Sugar cane plant is the main crop produced on the numerous plantations throughout the Caribbean as almost every island is covered with sugar plantations for refining the cane for its sweet properties. Oxbay
Oxbay Port (1 sub-board) Oxbay was a small, sparsely populated British colony located in the Caribbean Sea on an island also occupied by Greenford, another British colony. Between Greenford and Oxbay is a stretch of jungle where highway-men and bandits are occasionally encountered. Moderators: Will Turner, James Norrington, Elizabeth Turner
Greenford Greenford was a small British colony located on the same island as the colony of Oxbay. Greenford served as a center of operations for most of the Oxbay liberation efforts during the 1630 French occupation.
A prison located in Greenford was used to hold Roal Rheims, a man Governor Robert Christopher Silehard alleged to be a traitor prior to his escape. Greenford was a short journey from the island's lighthouse which was occupied by a lone, self-proclaimed "researcher" who was once accused of witch-craft, and attacked by a group of cutthroats. The Streets Tortuga has many....interesting places and objects of interest. The streets are rarely not full of some kind of activity whether it be legal or not. It is wise to carry a weapon if venturing into the alleyways... Moderators: Will Turner, James Norrington, Elizabeth Turner
